Job Title: HR Officer
Locations: Port Harcourt - Rivers and Warri, Sapele - Delta

Job Brief
We are currently seeking for a skilled and efficient male HR Officer who is a native of either Port Harcourt, Sapele or Warri to work with us.
The HR Officer will be responsible for managing the entire employment process, including orientation and training of new staff members, responsible for developing and implementing HR initiatives and systems, providing counselling on policies and procedures, and being actively involved in recruitment by preparing job descriptions, posting ads, and managing the hiring process.
Will also be responsible for creating and developing training and development programs and assisting in performance management processes.
The HR Officer will support the management of disciplinary and grievance issues and maintain employee records according to the company’s policy and legal requirements.
The goal will be to provide excellent assistance and support to employees and the management.
Responsibilities
Support the development and implementation of HR initiatives and systems.
Recruiting staff – developing job descriptions and person specifications, preparing job adverts, checking application forms, shortlisting, interviewing, and selecting candidates.
Provide analytical and well documented recruiting reports to the rest of the team.
Oversee crewing, (create and follow through staff crew change schedules in alignment with company’s standard and policy)
File ITF Reimbursement
Create and implement effective onboarding plans.
Develop training and staff development programs.
Create and maintain accurate staff database.
Identifying areas where employees can improve with the help of department heads and creating training strategies.
Overseeing employee performance, through periodic performance appraisals
Oversee staff leave schedule and allowance payment in alignment with company’s standard and policy.
Qualifications
B.Sc/ BA in Business Administration, Social Studies, or relevant field.
At least 5 years' experience in related field
CIPM, PHR Certification from the HR certification Institute
Requirement and Skills:
Proven experience in Human resource management as it relates to Industrial Catering.
Admirable knowledge of HR function (Recruitment, training & development, crewing, leave schedule, staff appraisals etc)
Understanding of Labour law and disciplinary procedures.
Proven knowledge in reimbursement from the Industrial training fund (ITF)
Proficient in MS Office, excel, knowledge of HRMS is a plus.
Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
Problem – solving, decision- making skills.
Strong ethics and reliability
Ability to deliver task assigned timely and efficiently.
Salary
N200,000 / Month.

Job Description
We are currently seeking for a passionate, and dynamic campboss, with proven experience working in deep offshore locations, who pride himself on the ability to deliver extraordinary levels of customer service and provide creative solution to our client. With a competitive salary of N13,500 daily rate, commensurate with experience and qualifications.
Responsibilities
Oversee and manage daily location operations, ensuring efficiency and adherence to safety standards.
Coordinate all catering and janitorial services, including meal planning, preparation, and delivery.
Supervise the staff, providing leadership and guidance to maintain a positive work environment.
Monitor and manage inventory, ordering supplies as needed to meet demand.
Ensure compliance with health and safety regulations and implement necessary protocols.
Address any issues or concerns raised by client residents or staff promptly and professionally.
Supervise the behaviour and training of staff according to the rules of HSEQ, Food Hygiene and Safety, HACCP, etc.
Collaborate with the catering team to enhance menu options and quality of service. Line inspection during meal service to ensure compliance.
Carry out regular inspection of the accommodation, common areas, Mess Hall, Store (dry and cold rooms) to ensure that cleaning and maintenance work have been carried out in accordance with the company and Client rules.
Update Timesheet attendance monthly as per crew change including overtime.Prepare reports on camp operations, including food consumption, staff performance, and maintenance activities.
Qualifications
HND / B.S.C in Administration or related field.
At least 10-15 years of experience in a related field.
Valid Offshore Survival (T-BOSIET), OSP.
STCW basic safety training.
Food Handler’s and Food Hygiene Certificate.
Seafarer’s Medical or Approved Offshore Medical
Knowledge, Skills, Competencies & Abilities.
Have knowledge in MS office and Excel.
Be a certified chef. (National and Continental dishes)
Be able to work independently.
Be able to supervise and give a daily progress report (verbal and written) of work done.
Be able to establish and maintain effective working relationships with people and public.
Ability to deal with employees from multi-cultural backgrounds.
Be able to maintain financial records.
Be proficient in all aspects of food hygiene and stock rotation.
