Job Scope
To assesses the feasibility of solar PV installations, by reviewing energy audits and evaluating the technical viability of the project.
He/She conducts site audits and prepares technical, mechanical and civil specifications and configurations for solar energy solutions.
He/She manages all key stakeholders to ensure that projects can be completed successfully.
He/She conducts on-the-job training for staff members, and analyses their strengths and developmental areas.
He/She occasionally works outdoors at installation sites.
He/She is organised and detail-oriented.
He/She also possesses good networking skills to manage projects and various stakeholders.
Build partnerships with key stakeholders on projects.
Conduct quality checks to ensure installation works follow project plans and commercial requirements.
Conduct site audits to prepare configurations and structures for system designs or integration with other energy solutions.
Contribute to the development of Standard Operating Procedures (SOPs) to ensure safety and quality assurance on sites.
Determine suitable locations for solar PV installation based on site visits and risk assessments.
Develop overall project management plans.
Develop staff through capability development interventions and on-the-job training.
Evaluate technical viability of projects, including suitability of sites.
Oversee contractors' works on installation and scaffolding operations.
Oversee installation of lightning protection systems.
Recommend training and development activities for staff.
Review computer simulations of solar PV energy generation to determine system efficiency.
Review costs and risks to ensure solar PV projects are within project governance limits.
Review energy audits and assessments to verify feasibility of solar Photovoltaic (PV) installations according to regulations.
Review the test results of solar PV and grounding systems.
Seek management approval for project risk assessments.
Work with authorities and professional engineers to support project-related approvals.
Qualifications & Skills
Education:
Bachelor in Electrical Engineering, B.Tech.
Experience of EPC - Substation, Distribution line and Transmission line.
Knowledge/Experience of MS Project, MS Office.
Good command over oral and written communications.
Experience : 5+ Year in various Solar Projects.

Job Purpose and Mission
SHS wholesale Associate drives the development of markets and will also play an important role in expanding renewable products into new geographic markets.
In addition, She/He is also responsible for building strategic partnerships to get our product distributed through 3rd parties in countries where we have decided not to be vertically integrated.
The job holder needs to interact with different global teams (legal, finance, technical, commercial, digital) for wholesales activities.
Responsibilities
Identify economic activities, potential partnerships, and methodologies for development consideration for Wholesales in all potential markets.
Build and test new revenues streams to improve the SHS business model
Identify and design new products and services mix to be offered to customers.
Lead the building of the new business activities (product or service) with the support of the Global VS team: define the commercial offer, the financial model, the customer journey, and ensure the compliance of the new business with the local regulations.
Present the new business activity to the VS investment committee for approval.
Coordinate implementation of the new business activity upon approval.
Define the budget and HR needs to implement the new business activities.
Build partnership or Joint Ventures to implement new wholesale business activities at scale.
Wholesale & Partnership:
Development and implementation of the B2B market expansion strategy
Drive the Wholesale team in delivering the agreed wholesale budget.
Evaluation and analysis new B2B market entries.
Developing sales strategies and setting quotas.
Building long term relationships in the new B2B markets.
Identify and leverage from donor funding programs.
Building a long-lasting, mutually beneficial relationships with external contacts and internal departments to create a better customer experience.
Qualifications
Master / Bachelor of Business Administration, Economics/ Political Sciences, Engineering or equivalent Knowledge of Solar Home System technologies.
Knowledge and Skills:
Experience:
At least 8 years of experience in business development and/or project management.
Experience in business modeling and preparation of investment files and budgets.
Strong negotiation skills & successful experience in signing deals and building partnerships.
Strong leadership, experience in multicultural management and recruitment.
Strong project management skills
Successful experience in innovation and time to market initiatives.
Experience with governments, international institutions and in lobbying activities.
Good understanding of the energy access sector both from an infrastructure and mass-market perspective.
