Role
Capacity to perform Tekla 3D Modelling from Engineering Design draving.
Extract/Detailing of 2D Drawings (Erection & Shop drawings).
Attention to details for miscellaneous Structure such as Walkways, Access Platforms &Pipe supports. (Involves Handrails/Stair cases/Ladders/Grating Standards). Proficient & Efficient Skills (Senior Capacity).
Educational Qualifications
Engineering Degree in Civil Engineering and Allied disciplines
Professional Qualifications:
COREN
Experience:
More than 8 years in on Shore Projects on steel structures design.

Description
The Engineer executes the activities within his area of responsibility, ensuring the compliance with the QAQC and HSE requirements
Review Client technical documentation and requirements
Maintain project technic al files and update Saipem standards
Control of subcontracted discipline engineering documents
Perform the engineering activities related with the assigned scope of work within the project
Ensure the timely availability of the project documents and the implementation of the comments received by the Client
Ensure the implementation of the project design changes. Give to the subsea engineering leader the information relevant to the work progress for the preparation of the project control reports
Cooperate in the preparation of the operative procedures for the integration and testing of the whole electrical chain with the other equipment of the system
Cooperate with other specialists for the evaluation of the system performance
Cooperate in the preparation of specifications for subsea electrical chain components installation, test and maintenance
Prepare and issue the final updating of the technical documents for rruterial purchasing
Prepare evaluation notes relevant to technical proposals received by suppliers
Prepare evaluation reports relevant to tests performed by suppliers both during qualification or construction phases
Assist the subsea engineering leader or the project engineering manager for solving technical problems arising during project development and for interfacing/supporting the Saipem procurement department
Prepare the section of competence of the final reports
Support the subsea engineering leader for the preparation of project schedules and manhours evaluation
Participate at the suppliers qualification process
Cooperate with the subsea engineering leader to support the procurement and fabrication activities.
TIE-IN DESIGN: Capability to perform tie-in design and relevant simulation analysis. Engineering project documents management: Capability to analyse engineering documents (e.g. Instruction to
Tender, Saipem and subcontractor documents, etc.) identifying improvement areas in terms of cost/time optimisation
Engineering standard codes and regulations: Knowledge of main international Discipline standards, codes and regulations.
Capability to analyse dedicated Project requirements in terms of local standards and codes and to identify proper implementation actions. When required by the role, ability to manage the resolution of Engineering Non- Conformity (NCR) at site supporting Construction and / or Fabrication activities effectively interfacing project Team, Client and Vendor.
Engineering reporting techniques: Capability to monitor and control the engineering progress and schedule Contribute to Project reporting for the relevant engineering part
Engineering technical software tools: User level knowledge of Corporate and Operating Center Discipline technical design software tools User level knowledge of Corporate and Operating Centre IT tools supporting business processes such as electronic document system management, procurement and office automation applications.
Equipment and material testing: Capability to define technical requirements for Discipline equipment and materials workshop testing according to corporate standards, procedures, methods and tools
2D and 3D modelling: Knowledge of tools related to 2D and 3D modelling activities.
P and IDs mechanisation: Capability to design and coordinate P&lDs for related systems.
Full knowledge of Discipline workflow and of Discipline mechanisation procedures and criteria.
Full knowledge of Discipline P&lDs mechanisation battery limits.
Educational Qualifications
Engineering Degree in Civil Engineering and Allied disciplines

Experience required for the Position:
Minimum of 10 years working experience Offshore Projects on steel structures design.
