Job Title: Vessel Supervisor
Location: Port Harcourt, Rivers

Job Description
A Vessel Supervisor is responsible for overseeing day-to-day technical and operational issues about the assigned vessels.
Key Responsibilities
Leading and supervising key and high-risk operations of the vessel
Supervision and management of the worksite vessels
Monitor and enforce safe systems of work methods
Accountable for behavioral safety
Raising hazard observations and site inspections to maintain a safe working environment
Ensuring safe and efficient use of plant and equipment.
Critical role in Emergency Response Organization responding to any vessel casualty to ensure the preservation of life and to maximum extent vessel and cargo under crisis conditions.
On call 24 hours/day, 7 days/week, to respond to assigned vessel casualties or other emergencies.
Supervise all vessel staff assigned to their vessels.
Supervise all technical management activities for assigned vessels.
Responsible for assigned vessel performance metrics including budget, operating costs, reliability, and planning.
Responsible for Regulatory compliance on assigned vessels including Safety and Environmental Protection, Domestic and International Law, Regulation Policies, and Procedures.
Where applicable comply with Nigerian laws or other agency rules, regulations, policies, or requirements.
Performs other position-related duties as specified by management
Requirements
B.Sc from an accredited institution, a Degree in Marine Transportation, Marine Engineering, or equivalent qualification
Full Field Shutdown Experience mandatory
Three years of shipyard or ship management experience or equivalency.
Computer literacy in PC and systems
Excellent interpersonal skills are required for conducting day-to-day business.
Vessel management experience.

Job Summary
To be responsible for all Electrical systems in the Power Plant. Provide the necessary routine maintenance and ensure 100% availability of the plant systems
Main Responsibilities
Oversee the Electrical team in resolving issues highlighted as part of the analysis from the planning and efficiency team
Ensure high availability of all Electrical equipment and systems in the power plant
Minimize the cost of maintenance of the plant and optimize equipment lifecycle cost.
Supervision of maintenance measures in the Electrical maintenance unit and ensuring quality of Maintenance
Ensure proper record of faults and repairs on plant electrical systems
Respond to any electrical equipment malfunction or breakdown
Ensure availability of spares and other infrastructure for maintenance
Minimize response time to the Operations unit for handling routine day-to-day problems.
Optimize Mean Time Between Failure (MTBF) and Mean Time to Repair (MTTR)
Plan resource requirements for electrical maintenance–manpower, materials, and contracts.
Technical knowledge of all electrical systems.
Understanding of the working of equipment and history of equipment
Knowledge of standard operating procedures concerning maintenance of Electrical system.
Good knowledge of troubleshooting and maintenance of switchgears, motors, UPS/DC systems,
Technical troubleshooting and ability to identify root cause of problems to avoid recurrence
Knowledge of safety requirements and environmental aspects of power generation.
Knowledge of modern maintenance management practices and spares inventory management
Knowledge of statutory guidelines related to electrical equipment Knowledge of Engineering,
Experience in Low, medium, and high-voltage electrical systems. Experience in 132KV HV systems is an added advantage
Skilled in maintenance planning, scheduling, and technical reporting
Ability to carry out preventive and proactive interventions of plant electrical systems using OEM design schematics with minimal supervision
Qualifications
First Degree in Electrical / Electronic Engineering, HND could be considered.
Minimum of 3-5 years’ experience in the Power Industry
Member of COREN, Post Graduate degree and other certifications are added advantages.
Experience in a Power plant of minimum 20MW capacity.
Experience in any other oil and gas process or production facility.
