Description
The key purpose of this role is to control distribution operations to satisfy customer service level, maintaining high safety standard, while optimising the all OWN and 3PL assets and the department’s performance to meet standards and remain competitive.
Key Roles and Responsibilities
Daily CORE pre-planning handshake and integration with Planning and Expediting team
Daily fleet availability list submitted to CORE planning team before planning commences
Updates on truck tracking and intermitted reporting to BU and Zone as per MCRS requirements
Order Execution Tracking & Escalation
Daily delivery capacity managed and Expected Volume Forecast managed
KPIs & PIs Update, Review And Problem Solving
Manage Time And Attendance For Own Driver
Manage 3PL and Dedicated transporters ensuring adherence to delivery plan execution
Verify daily 3rd Party shipment verification for payments
VPO/DPO Implementation
Daily Reports Compilation and adherence to targets explained and understood. Course correct where necessary
Safety Monitoring Update And Recording
Daily interaction with Warehouse to ensure seamless loading and dispatching of delivery vehicles
Compliance to SCL(Supervisor Checklists)
Daily Driver Debriefing
SAP transactions for dispatching of vehicles where necessary executed
SAP Master data management – keeping all relevant master data updated daily
Driver shortages and breakages managed and investigated daily
Customer engagement and trade visits
3PL contractors management
Refusals Modulation
Driver score card managed daily and safety noncompliances addressed and managed

Daily Review of PIs for direct reports
Adherence to POC /Route Visits plan
Conduct OWDs & Audits
Driver one on one (Performance review)

Control Distribution Performance:

Job Description
The key purpose of this role is to support the Warehouse operations and controller to manage stock, people and processes through VPO and DPO, while ensuring the highest standard of warehouse safety.
Key Roles and Responsibilities
Manage and drive improvements in daily warehouse operations – Receipt, Storage, Offloading, Loading.
Optimize all warehouse processes to ensure on time loading and dispatching of vehicles
Ensure all trucks are dispatched accurately in a timely manner
Ensure that all driver queries and charges are communicated daily to the Distribution teams
Manage checkers and ensure that all loads are correctly assembled and loaded
Process load settlement with accuracy
Process inter-depot and inter-warehouse transfers.
Manage all critical products affecting Downtime Caused by Logistics eg Sorting and forklift availability
Manage the inflow and outflow of products (Full Products and Containers)
Implement and comply to VPO & DPO standards
Drive achievement of warehouse PI’s and KPI’s
Participate in annual target setting and cascading
Cascade Team and Individual Goals and Manage Team Performance (Daily Performance Tracking, Monthly One on One’s)
Develop and Implement process standards: SOPs, OPL’s OWDs etc. and conduct OWD’s
Ensure compliance to sorting and MBFU tracking and daily reporting
Manage Warehouse stock to ensure quality and availability to customers (Internal and External)
Maintain and improve safety by driving the correct safety behaviours on the shop-floor.
Ensure fleet standards are always maintained and safety standards are adhered to
Ensure optimal asset utilization ( Warehouse, Forklifts, Human Resources)
Ensure accuracy of inventory and shipments.
Supervise Daily Stock Counts
Manage internal and external customer complaints.
Own and Drive Implementation of VPO/DPO:
Engage with the Plant regarding their VPO/DPO dream by driving VPO/DPO on the shop floor.
Representation during milestone audits will be necessary to support the Plant’s VPO/DPO dream.
Warehouse KPI Reporting:
Collate and Submit daily PI/KPI data as per requirement by the Warehouse Controller
Profile
Minimum of B.Sc./ B.Tech / HND in a related field.
2 years experience in Logistics and Supply Chain Management
MS Office/Excel
