We are recruiting to fill the position below:
Job Title: Field Worker
Location: Ibadan, Oyo
Job type: Contract
Duration: 1-year renewable contract
Duties
Carry out black Sigatoka, weevil and nematode field sampling, sample processing and data collection.
Assist with maintenance of pathology checks in trials in the laboratory, screen house and field.
Assist with planting materials propagation for pest and disease evaluation trials.
Perform any other job-related duties as may be assigned by the supervisor.
Requirements
Qualifications:
O’level with a minimum of two (2) years’ experience performing a similar role in a well-structured environment.
Competencies:
The ideal candidate must:
Have experience in field data collection, field and screen house trails and the planting materials propagation.
Have good communication skills (writing, reading, and speaking).
Have the ability to use basic Microsoft software (Word, Excel, PowerPoint).
Have excellent interpersonal and multi-tasking skills and work under pressure to meet deadlines with keen attention to detail.
Be trustworthy and diligent to work with little or no supervision.
Have a positive attitude and strong team spirit.

Job Title: People and Culture Assistant (Talent Management)
Location: Ibadan, Oyo
Employment Type: Full-time
Duties
Generation of P&C Reports and Other Administrative Support:
Liaise with colleagues in the unit including those in People Data and Systems and the Station Administrators and prepare People and Culture monthly reports
Assist in the preparation of reports related to various talent management activities.
Serve as alternate secretary of P&C departmental and sectional heads’ meetings.
Maintain current knowledge of policies and procedures.
Proofread documents, proposals, policies, etc., as may be required.
Assist the Manager, Talent Management and Engagement with assigned projects including employee surveys.
Client Services:
Prepare visa support, reference, and attestation letters for staff (NRS) under the guidance of the Manager, Talent Management and Engagement.
Provide helpdesk services on people management issues relating to NRS, responding to routine enquiries from the staff.
Assist in prompt resolution of requests and complaints from the staff as may be channeled through the office of the Manager, Talent Management and Engagement.
Assist in stakeholder engagement with hosted institutions.
Support for People and Culture Activities:
Support all People and Culture-led staff events, seminars, teambuilding, and awareness campaigns, including gender equity, diversity, and inclusion (GDI) activities as may be required.
Work in task teams across P&C to achieve people management strategic goals.
Work with P&C sectional Supervisors in any assigned task.
Perform any other job-related duties as may be assigned by the Supervisor.
Requirements
BSc / HND in Human Resources, Social Sciences, or humanities with a minimum of two (2) years’ with proven experience in HR operations, and/or in providing administrative support in a Human Resource Department. Associate or student membership of any people management professional body is an added advantage.

Analytical skills. Attention to details and ability to organize work to meet deadlines.
Ability to maintain confidentiality.
Ability to provide excellent customer service.
Adequate knowledge of the local labour law.
Excellent communication skills, including presentation skills, written and oral.
Ability to work independently and collaborate effectively.
Excellent use of Microsoft Office Suite with especially in Excel and PowerPoint.
