Job Title: Front Desk Officer
Location: Port Harcourt, Rivers
Employment Type: Full-time
Description
Greet people entering the building, answering any questions, providing directions and alerting staff when someone is there to meet or visit them.
Answer a multiple line phone system, manage calls by routing them to the proper extensions or taking messages and delivering them within our message system along with setting up conference calls as requested.
Manage the building log of who is entering and exiting the building.
Accept deliveries and mail, organize them to be distributed to the correct recipients using the office mailing system and ensure they get to the recipient in a timely manner while also managing outgoing mail and packages for pickup.
Serve as the face of the company, offering friendly service to those entering the building or calling in on the phone.
Maintain the reception area, keeping it clean and free of clutter.
Assist new applicants who come into the building to apply for positions, including providing them with applications, pens and clipboards along with any reference material they may need, such as telephone directories or Wi-Fi passwords.
Handle filing and data entry as requested.
Monitors lobby and work area determining customer flow
Respond to customers inquiries and requests in a timely, friendly and efficient manner
Facilitate correspondence with customers.
Works collaboratively with other staff, managers, and resources
Requirements
Bachelor's Degree in any related field.
0 - 3 years work experience.
Proven working experience as a front desk office operations or any related role
Proficiency in Microsoft office suite
Attention to details and ability to multitask in a fast paced environment.
Should be proficient in English Language (Oral and Written)
Excellent knowledge of MS Office.
Strong communication and people skill
Good organizational and multitasking abilities.
Problem-solving skills
Customer service orientation
Social media savvy.

Duties
Marketing and promoting AMS BridgeBlue Global institutions to prospective students.
Develop and initiate student recruitment strategies that will have good return on investment.
Counsel and provide up-to-date information and choices available to prospective students.
Recruitment of genuine students to study overseas.
Provide appropriate counseling to prospective applicants on suitable courses and study options ofthe university or college.
Conversion of all prospective clients- ensuring clients register.
Provide overall excellent service to all clients.
Update and provide weekly reports to the branch manager on student status, application enquiries and registrations.
Provide full visa counseling guidance for registered applicants.
Meet with students and sponsors to ensure appropriate requirements for course applications are met.
Provide comprehensive support services to applicants during the application and conversion process.
Ensure constant communication with enquirers and walk in clients.
Achieve agreed-upon targets for each month and intake.
Requirements
Applicants should have little or no work experience and must possess any of the B.Sc., HND or OND and other professional qualifications related to the job.
Working knowledge of marketing principles and the local market terrain would be an added advantage.
A good team player with good report-writing and analytical skills.
Proficient in the use of Microsoft Office Suite.
Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
Salary
N50,000 - N100,000 monthly.
