Job Title: Project Coordinator - EU DEVCO
Location: Kano
Employment Type: Full-time
The Opportunity
The purpose of this role is to coordinate, manage and implement the Education and livelihood activities in the specific location - Sokoto state where the project is implemented.
About You
We are looking for applicant with a University degree or its equivalent in Education, Social Science, Social Work, Psychology, or related fields.
A master’s degree as well as certificate in Project Management (DPro) will be an added advantage.
The candidate should possess a minimum of 4 years' relevant work experience in project management of education projects and at least 2 years in Education in Emergencies.
S/he should have proven experience in quality and timely report writing.

The Opportunity
The purpose of this role is to coordinate all Monitoring, Evaluation, Research and Learning (MERL) activities of the EU project in Sokoto state as per the annual approved work plan and the achievement of agreed Project development objectives.
S/he is to coordinate the operationalization of effective and appropriate MERL system, reporting, evaluations for measuring outputs, outcomes, impact, lessons learnt and recommend key action points to improve programme delivery across the organization.
About You
We are looking for applicant with a Bachelor’s degree and 5 years of work experience in monitoring and evaluating large multi-year international development programs, with a robust M&E component. A holder of Master’s degree is preferred.
The candidate should possess proven expertise in quantitative and qualitative methodologies, research, reporting, data quality assessments, data analysis and presentation.
S/he should demonstrate strong coordination, teamwork, and planning skills with proven ability to function effectively with multiple counterparts in private, public and NGO sectors.
