Description
Groundcrew are responsible for getting our helicopters in the air and providing essential protection for them on the ground.
You'll be trained to move, refuel and re-arm the aircraft that support ground forces. You'll also drive everything from Land Rovers to heavy-goods vehicles (HGVs).
Wherever the Army is in the world the Army Air Corps is there ready to provide tactical aviation action and support. modern operations require big-picture thinking and large-scale cooperation, which is why the Army Air Corps is proud of it's forward-thinking personnel and cutting-edge technology.
Key Responsibilities
Get the Army’s fleet of battlefield helicopters in the air - from re-arming the Apache gunship to programming the Wildcat flight maps
Take responsibility for all the equipment and supplies required
Deploy on exercise and operations all over the world, wherever your squadron is needed.

You'll specialise in intercepting and analysing communications, working with complex, state-of-the-art computers and equipment.

The Intelligence Corps is responsible for information gathering and intelligence analysis. Modern military operations are dependent on the provision of highly accurate and timely intelligence.
To provide this, our analysts are embedded in all parts of the Military to ensure that the Army's operations are successful. Although we are one of the smallest parts of the Army, our analysts have a monumental impact on decision making, straight out of training.

Qualifications:
GCSE Grade A–C/9-4, or Scottish National 5 grade A-C, in Maths, English Language and 3 other subjects. (These 3 must be academic subjects including: History, Geography, Science (Science double counts as 2 GCSEs) Physics, Biology, Chemistry, English Literature, Business Studies, or any language qualification).

Earn £25,200 during training.
On completion of Phase 2 training you will join your unit as a Lance Corporal earning £32,615 a year.
