Job Title: HSE Supervision Service
Location: Port Harcourt, Rivers
Employment Type: Full-time
Key Responsibilities
Lead and supervise HSE activities on-site, ensuring all operations are conducted in compliance with HSE policies and regulations.
Provide guidance and support to project teams to enhance safety awareness and promote a culture of safety.
Coordinate with project managers, contractors, and other stakeholders to address HSE issues effectively.
Monitor compliance with local, state, and federal HSE regulations and standards.
Conduct regular site inspections, audits, and risk assessments to identify hazards and implement corrective actions.
Ensure all safety incidents, near misses, and accidents are reported, investigated, and documented.
Develop and deliver HSE training programs for employees and contractors, ensuring they know safety procedures and practices.
Keep up-to-date with industry best practices and regulatory changes, and update training materials accordingly.
Lead investigations into safety incidents, identifying root causes and implementing preventive measures.
Prepare detailed reports on safety performance, incidents, and corrective actions.
Conduct regular emergency drills and ensure all personnel are trained in emergency response procedures.
Maintain accurate and up-to-date records of HSE activities, including incident reports, training records, and inspection logs.
Prepare and submit HSE reports to management and regulatory bodies as required.
Participate in HSE meetings and committees to share knowledge and promote best practices.
Qualifications
Bachelor's degree in Occupational Health and Safety, Environmental Science, Engineering, or a related field.
Professional certifications such as NEBOSH, OSHA, or equivalent.
Minimum 8 years of experience in HSE supervision.
In-depth knowledge of HSE regulations, standards, and best practices.
Strong leadership, communication, and problem-solving skills.
Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
Proficiency in HSE management software and Microsoft Office Suite.
Salary
N500,000 - N660,000 Monthly.
