DNA Learning Solutions - Our client is a Construction and Engineering company based in Port Harcourt involved in the design and construction of bridges, tunnels, roads and buildings, requires an Equipment Manager who will be responsible for the management of equipment, including scheduling and coordinating maintenance, repairs, and inspections of earth moving equipment’s viz bulldozer, excavator, and other CAT engines, cranes, rigs, compressors and Swamp Buggies. The person will also handle inventory management, budgeting, and procurement of equipment.

Qualifications
Degree in Mechanical Engineering
Professional Qualification
10 years cognate working experience especially in construction and engineering.
Knowledge and experience in equipment management, maintenance, and repair
Strong organizational and time management skills
Ability to develop and maintain effective relationships with vendors and suppliers
Excellent communication and problem-solving skills
Detail-oriented and ability to multitask
Proficiency in using equipment management software or tools
Knowledge of health and safety regulations and compliance
Experience in the engineering or construction industry is a plus.
Salary
N350,000 Monthly.

Job Summary
The Operations Planning Lead will be responsible for overseeing, coordinating, and optimizing operations activities with the JV while ensuring efficient resource utilization and adherence to production schedules.
Main Responsibilities
Develop and implement detailed operational plans and schedules, ensuring alignment with JV objectives, timelines, and budget constraints.
Coordinate with Drilling, Completions, and Production teams to ensure integrated planning.
Collaborate with logistics and supply chain teams to ensure timely delivery of resources for production activities.
Monitor and analyze operational performance, identifying areas for improvement and implementing corrective actions to optimize efficiency and productivity.
Engage with project managers to develop risk management strategies and contingency plans, ensuring readiness to address potential challenges and disruptions to production activities.
Develop and maintain strong relationships with clients, vendors, and partners, ensuring alignment and support for operational activities.
Manage supporting staff responsible for liquid lifting scheduling, gas dispatching and custody transfer metering, production accounting, and reconciliation.
Develop and manage resource allocation plans (personnel, equipment, materials).
Liaise with government agencies, including NUPRC, NNPC, NAPIMS, NCDMB, etc. to ensure all completion activities adhere to regulatory requirements, company policies, and industry standards.
Implement and monitor safety procedures to minimize risks during production operations.
Participate in safety audits, risk assessments, and incident investigations.
Drive continuous improvement initiatives, implementing best practices and innovative solutions to enhance operational processes and outcomes.
Prepare and present regular reports and updates to key stakeholders, highlighting key performance metrics and production milestones.
Educational Qualifications and Skills
Bachelor's Degree in Engineering, Operations Management, or a related field.
An advanced degree (Master’s) in a relevant discipline is preferred.
Possession of relevant professional certification, e.g. PMP is an advantage.
Minimum of 10 years of active experience in Operations Planning within an oil-producing asset.
Experience in the Niger Delta/Rivers region is essential
Proven track record of leading and managing complex operational projects with an oil-producing asset.
Strong leadership and organizational skills, with a commitment to delivering high-quality results timely.
Ability to adapt to changing priorities and work effectively in a dynamic work environment.
Knowledge of operational planning principles, project management methodologies, and industry best practices.
Experience in working in both onshore and offshore environments.
Strong knowledge of HSE (Health, Safety, and Environmental) standards and best practices.
Strong organizational and project management skills.
Ability to handle multiple projects simultaneously and meet deadline
Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
Willingness to travel to field locations and work in challenging conditions as required.
Understanding of Wells Operations, Production Management, Logistics, and Supply Chain Management
Experience with performance metrics analysis and operational optimization techniques.
