We are recruiting to fill the position below:

Job Title: Storekeeper

Location: Nigeria

Job Summary

Responsible for overseeing the administrative management of warehouse aggregation activities, including the receipt, storage, and dispatch of commodities, ensuring daily control systems are implemented to manage inventory efficiently.   

Responsibilities

Monitor stock movement and track the flow of goods in and out of the warehouse.  
Receive, inspect, and store incoming aggregated commodities according to the company’s standard operating procedures.  
Conduct regular physical inventory counts and reconcile them with system records to prevent discrepancies.  
Implement and maintain quality control measures to ensure all soybean seeds meet company quality standards during storage and handling.  
Oversee storage conditions and ensure proper environmental controls to prevent damage, spoilage, or contamination of seeds and other commodities.  
Maintain accurate labelling and identification of all inventory items for timely and precise dispatch.  
Support the quality control team by providing timely updates on stock levels and any quality concerns.  
Ensure full compliance with safety and environmental regulations in all warehouse activities  
Environmental regulations in all warehouse activities .

Requirements

5 O’ level credits including Mathematics & English in not more than 2 sittings/NABTEB/ Trade test. 
Minimum of 2-3 years experience in Warehouse operations.

Demonstrate a high level of integrity and honesty in all tasks.  
Exhibit strong teamwork and collaboration skills.  
Have a solid understanding of warehouse operations and activities.

Job Title: Supplies Officer (Technical)

Location: Lagos

Purpose of the Job

To plan, record, coordinate, and control the Technical Projects department’s procurement and stores.

The Job

Develop and coordinate Materials, tools, and job requests.
Generate material requisitions on ERP Platforms
Follow jobs budget, monitor supplier performance, and conduct periodic evaluations.
Check material specification and quality on delivery.
Coordinate project materials store and monitor inventory levels of key project work items and tools
Check vendors' attendance and invoices.
Review purchase orders, contracts, and other procurement documents.
Monitor inventory levels and track usage patterns to optimize inventory management and minimize stock-outs or excess inventory.

Qualifications and Experience

HND in Mechanical or Electrical Engineering.
3 years minimum experience in a similar role.

Possess project management and data analytical skills.

Purpose of the Job

Assist in mechanical project implementation, and ensure high quality and cost-effective standards, which is a key to the smooth running of the plant for mass production to meet the high demand of the customers.

The Job

Supervise installation works during new plant constructions.
Supervise fabrication of machinery and steel constructions.
Supervise maintenance and refurbishment of machinery and steel structures.
Design relevant mechanical parts for fabrication to use in project installations.
Follow up and collection of materials and tools requested from stores.
Assign technicians to scheduled jobs
Follow the technician’s attendance and work time.
Ensure quality, safety, and food-safety standards and regulations are followed by the assigned people.
Maintains up-to-date and comprehensive project documentation, for seamless project implementation.
Implement the team’s facilities maintenance program, at assigned locations.

Qualifications and Experience

OND in Mechanical Engineering, or related disciplines
Proficient in the use of Microsoft Word and Excel
3 years’ experience in the milling industry

Job Purpose

To manage and oversee the business seed production process and establish demonstration plots through strategic planning, coordinating, and supervise harvesting with out-growers, in achieving the business annual targets.

Responsibilities

Prepare and plan seed production schedules in accordance with seed production targets indicated by management for the year.
Coordinate screening and selection of out-growers for seasonal seed production activities.
Coordinate seed logistics activities to ensure accurate records and movement of seeds.
Negotiate, sign and manage contracts with contract growers and processors involved in the seed production value chain.
Supervise and participate in planting, rogueing, detasseling, and harvesting as well as provide technical support on recommended agricultural practices.
Monitor and ensure quality control standards for production of breeder, foundation and certified seeds.
Keep detailed records of seed production inputs, farm management practices, outputs and stock delivery.
Establish demonstration plots in strategic locations to increase seed adoption.

Qualification

HND or BSc. in Agronomy, Agriculture, Crop Science, Soil Science, Agricultural economics or related fields.
Experience:

Minimum of 5 years cognate experience.
Experiences in market intelligence will be an added advantage.
