We are recruiting to fill the position below:

Job Title: General Manager of Operations

Job Description

As the General Manager of operations, you will consecutively oversee and manage all operational aspects of WDCL within PH and Warri.
You will lead a team of professionals to ensure the smooth execution of projects, optimize operational processes, and drive business growth.

Key Responsibilities

Develop and implement operational strategies that align with the company’s overall business objectives.
Oversee the planning, execution, and monitoring of projects, ensuring timely delivery and adherence to quality standards.
Manage and optimize operational processes, including procurement, engineering, construction, and maintenance.
Lead and develop a high-performing team of operations professionals, providing guidance and mentorship.
Establish and maintain strong relationships with clients, suppliers, and other stakeholders.
Identify and implement cost-saving measures to improve operational efficiency and profitability.
Ensure compliance with all relevant industry regulations and standards.

Qualifications

Bachelor’s Degree in Engineering, Business Administration, or a related field.
Minimum of 10 years of experience in the Nigerian energy sector, with at least 5 years in a senior management role.
Proven track record in managing complex operations and driving business growth.
Strong leadership skills and ability to motivate and inspire teams.
Excellent problem-solving and decision-making abilities.
Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
Proficiency in relevant industry software and systems.
