Who We're Looking For

We're seeking a Business Development Manager with a strong background in maritime operations and electronics systems.
This is an exciting opportunity for an IT-savvy Bridge Officer looking to transition to an office-based role or a maritime academy graduate eager to apply their knowledge in a dynamic business development setting.
Key Responsibilities

Drive business growth by identifying and pursuing new sales opportunities in maritime electronics.
Build and maintain relationships with clients and industry partners.
Understand client needs and recommend tailored maritime electronics solutions.
Collaborate with technical teams to deliver seamless service.
Prepare persuasive proposals, bids, and presentations for clients.
Stay ahead of industry trends and the competitive landscape.
Negotiate contracts and close deals to meet or exceed targets.
Represent the company at industry events and conferences.
Skills & Qualifications

Experience as a Bridge Officer or a maritime academy graduate with a passion for business development.
Knowledge of maritime electronics systems and IT solutions.
Excellent communication skills, both written and spoken.
Strong sales and negotiation skills with a proven ability to meet sales targets.
Good numerical and analytical skills.
Active listener with a client-focused approach.
Self-motivated and able to work independently or as part of a team.
Willingness to travel for client meetings and industry events.

Responsibilities

Record accurately deliveries and departmental issues in the stock ledgers and balance daily to the standard required
Match goods received with delivery notes from suppliers
Unload and receive goods from suppliers
Ensure that all goods are immediately dispatched to store for which they are intended and that no goods are left unsecured or unsupervised on the loading bay
Distribute goods to the Engineering Department employees against stores request
Weekly requisitioning of materials required to maintain stock level
Enter all materials in and out of stores into the computer on a weekly basis
Ensure proper security is adhered at all time
Ensure stores are kept clean and tidy at all times.
Communicate and cooperate with supervisors and co-workers.
Monitor and manage inventory levels and order new items
Requirements

Candidates should possess an OND / NCE / HND / Bachelor's Degree qualification.
Minimum of two years of work experience as a store keeper in handling engineering items
Proficiency in inventory software, databases and systems.

 Salary
N100,000 - N120,000 Monthly.
