Job Description Summary
The Communications Coordinator leads the team responsible for conveying Chevron’s messages to both internal and external stakeholders.
This role involves communicating news to the media to maintain and enhance the company’s public perception.
Additionally, the position entails developing communication materials and footage for external events such as conferences and exhibitions to promote the brand and engage stakeholders. It is essential that the messages align with Chevron’s vision and core values.
The coordinator also collaborates with other teams to create and implement effective communication strategies.”
Key Responsibilities
Coordinates media engagement, monitoring and briefings. Builds relationship with media stakeholders, facilitates media content analysis and manages media briefings.
Coordinates all communications in collaboration with relevant internal stakeholders. This includes crisis management, executive communications and external communications.
Develops and deploys communication strategy/plan.
Champions the deployment of internal communication, production and placement of advertisements.
Works with the Communications team and other internal stakeholders to plan and execute workforce engagements.
Responsible for developing and tracking group’s budget.
Oversees the planning and execution of the company’s participation at exhibitions and conferences.
What You Will Bring
Qualifications:
BA / B.Sc Degree (Second Class Upper) in Mass Communications, English/Literature, Linguistics, History or International Relations.
Master’s degree in any of the above fields will be an added advantage.
Experience:
Minimum of 10 years’ experience in Communications, Media/Journalism and Public Relations practice.
Demonstrated competency in developing communications strategy/plan and managing crisis.
Additional Considerations:
Ability to coach less-experienced colleagues in spoken and written communication.
Expertise in multiple writing styles (e.g. speeches, issue position papers) and excellent editing skills.
Ability to lead reader/audience to deeper level of understanding on complex topics.

Job Description Summary
General Facilities, Projects and Operations support engineer. The position will require broad knowledge including core technical skills of multiple engineering disciplines such as process, mechanical, electrical, pipeline, instrumentation and controls, reliability, and integrity, and civil/structural.
Responsible for supporting base business operations including maintenance, turnaround, modification, and asset retirement, as well as design, construction, and execution of small to major capital projects across all phases.
Key Responsibilities
General facilities, projects and operations engineering support to new and operating facilities, through application of broad fundamental technical engineering knowledge.
Performs basic engineering design calculations in core technical discipline aligned with degree and experience level.
Facilitates process hazards analyses and contributes data to quantitative risk analyses.
Manages small to mid-size capital projects, including opportunity shaping, conceptual design, front-end and detailed engineering, contracting and field execution.
Manages medium to large scale field construction work, pipeline installation (onshore and offshore), small and major equipment installation, pre-commissioning and commissioning, working with 3rd party contractors.
Performs basic concepts of cost estimating, expenditure requests, and cost tracking.
Performs routine engineering documents (i.e. equipment specs, data sheets, P&IDs, etc.).
Analyzes and troubleshoots equipment failures and carries out root cause analysis and offer solutions.
Carries out production facility review with a view to optimize and grow production, while minimizing downtime associated with equipment failures resulting in loss of production and overall efficiency.
What You Will Bring
Qualification:
BSc. or equivalent in an Engineering discipline.

Experience:
1-4 years’ experience post graduating.
Good experience with field construction activities - field construction work, pipeline installation, equipment installation etc.
Expertise:
Understand basic concepts of cost estimating, expenditure requests, and cost tracking.
Great understanding of routine engineering documents (i.e., equipment specs, data sheets, etc.).
Knowledgeable in process safety hazards, assesses process safety risks, and develops mitigation strategies.
Good understanding of asset integrity, especially with flowlines, pipeline cleaning and inspection processes.
Digital skills and acumen:
Strong digital innovation skillset, including understanding of current and potential future Artificial Intelligence activities.
