Job Title: Export Documentation Officer
Location: Port Harcourt, Rivers

Job Summary
Export Documentation Officer is a strategic partner in running the business and plays a crucial role of preparing and processing export documentation, ensuring compliance with regulation, and facilitating the smooth shipment of goods.
The Export Documentation Officer will liaise with concerned internal units and with external stake holders (Export trade partner, Freight forwarder, Regulatory agencies, etc.)
He/she will be part of a team with a culture of high performance and will deploy his/her skills optimally to achieve strategic priorities.
The role requires attention to detail, organizational skills, and knowledge of export regulations.
Responsibilities
Prepare and process export documents, including commercial invoices, packing lists, bills of lading and certificates of origin.
Coordinate with Finance unit, Quality unit, Freight forwarder, Shipping terminal and Shipping line in getting respective businesses handled.
Ensure compliance with relevant regulations, such as customs, export control agencies.
Verify accuracy of documentation, including product description, quantities, and values.
Maintain records and files of export documentation, including electronic and paper copies
Track and update status of cargo from shipping line site.
Stay up-to-date with changes in export regulations and procedures.
Prompt documentation to meet required deadlines.
Education
Bachelor’s degree in International Trade, Logistics, Business Administration or any relevant field.
Certified Export Compliance Professional (CECP) or similar certification.
Project Management Professional (PMP)
Age: 24 - 35 years
Required Skills / Abilities:
Over two (2 years) of experience in export documentation or related field.
Knowledge of export regulations, including Incoterms, Harmonized Systems and Customs procedures.
Strong attention to detail and organizational skills
Good Analytical and innovative skills.
Must be self-motivated
Excellent communication and customer service skills
Ability to work in a fast-paced environment and meet deadlines.
Proficiency in Microsoft Office and export documentation software.

Job Summary
The Export Warehousing Officer is responsible for ensuring the efficient and accurate receipt, storage, accounting for and securing the stored cargo, dispatch of export goods and overall warehousing operations.
He/she will be part of a team with a culture of high performance and will deploy his/her skills optimally to achieve strategic priorities.
This role requires attention to detail, organizational skills, and knowledge of export regulations.
Duties / Responsibilities
Receive and inspect export goods, verifying quantity, quality, and documentation.
Store goods in designated areas, ensuring proper labeling, segregation, and safety of stock.
Maximum utilization of warehouse space concerning stock stacking and compliance with organization’s FIFO rule on stock inflow and outflow.
Manage warehousing inventory, tracking stock levels, record keeping and timely reporting of discrepancies.
Compliance with Container stuffing SOP
Coordinate with Export Documentation Officer, Freight forwarders and Shipping terminals to comply with regulations including customs, export controls and to communicate cargo readiness.
Conduct regular inventory audits and cycle counts to ensure accuracy.
Maintain a clean, safe and organized warehouse environment.
Coordinate with Logistics team in tracking and reporting goods-in-transit.
Timely preparation and retirement of operational expenses in compliance with company policy
Stay up-to-date with changes in export regulations and procedures.
Requirements
Education:
Bachelor’s Degree in Logistics, Supply Chain Management, or any other relevant field.
Abilities:
Over two (2) years’ experience in export and/or warehousing or a related field.
Knowledge on export regulations, including customs procedures and export controls.
Good analytical and innovative skills
Excellent communication skill
Ability to work in a fast-paced environment and meet deadlines
Proficiency in Microsoft Office and warehouse management software.
Physical ability to keep up with warehousing operations, as required.
Age Requirement: 24 - 35 years old.
