Job Title: Communication Officer - Regional Office

Location: Ibadan, Oyo

Job Description

Assist in disseminating accurate and timely information about the company’s products and services and maintaining smooth and cordial relationships with the media at the region where we do business and ensure approved uniform brand presence and visibility

Job Responsibilities

Assist in the collation of data for the corporate communication plan at the region:
Assist in Media relations, crisis management, and mitigation of negative press at the region-
Assist in the implementation of the approved brand presence and visibility initiatives across the region-
It has assisted in developing content for region-specific press releases and media features, as well as coordination of media happenings and updates that affect the business. 
Implement allocated proactive and reactive community engagements.
Prepares weekly and ad-hoc reports to relevant stakeholders
Carry out any other duties as directed by the supervisor. 

Job Requirements

At least a Bachelor's Degree in Social Sciences, Journalism, Mass Communications, or a related field.
Nigeria Institute of Journalism and other related professional bodies are added advantages.
At least 2 years’ experience in Branding & Communication.

Technical Competencies:

Experience and skill in using a camera to take photographs and shoot basic video.
Proficient in the use of IT/computer-based applications relevant to the task.
Ability to write clear and concise reports, statements, etc., and meet short deadlines.
Experience working in a multi-cultural setting.
Ability to prioritize and plan effectively.
Awareness of different media agendas. 
Knowledge of digital marketing tactics and email marketing.
Experience, working in customer relations.

Job Description

This job role implements the effective inventory management framework that meets current and future business needs concerning materials planning, scheduling, warehousing, and timely closure of requisitions.

Job Responsibilities

Safeguards Business Hub warehouse operations and materials by complying with established security procedures and protocols.
Receipt of all supplies made to IBEDC.
Inspection of goods delivered to specification with the certification team where applicable.
Release materials to user departments and stations as the management approves with audit endorsement of all requisitions.
Management of stock-out and lead time for timely stock replenishment.
ERP Sage posting and transactions in respect of all materials issues, materials received, intersite transfer, and generation of stock reports as required.  
To participate in the mid-year and annual stock-taking exercise to ascertain the actual physical stock and carry out reconciliation where deemed necessary.
Preparation of periodic and ad-hoc reports to management and relevant stakeholders.
Performs other sundry assignments as stipulated by the Regional Store Officer and B/Hub manager.

Job Requirements

A Bachelor's Degree in any field.
At least 1 year’s work experience
Membership in relevant professional bodies.
A postgraduate professional certificate in a relevant field. (Added advantage).
