Job Title: Programme Assistant (Volunteer)

Job Summary

We are seeking a Programme Assistant (Volunteer) to join our team in Gombe. This role offers a unique opportunity to contribute to impactful programs and gain valuable experience.
Responsibilities

Organize and facilitate workshops, training sessions, and field activities.
Promote awareness of VentCope’s programs within the community.
Maintain databases, manage files, and keep records related to programs and beneficiaries.
Draft reports, proposals, and other essential documents.
Assist in writing grant proposals and identifying funding opportunities.
Compile reports to assess program effectiveness and suggest improvements.
Represent VentCope and advocate for its mission.
Perform other tasks assigned by the Team Lead.
Requirements

Bachelor’s Degree in Psychology, Social Work, Social Sciences, or a related field.
Minimum 2 years of relevant experience.
Proficiency in Microsoft Office and strong IT skills.
Excellent communication, organizational, and time management abilities.
Knowledge of local community structures and dynamics.
Ability to travel and work with diverse groups.
Proficiency in English and working knowledge of Hausa.
Residency in Gombe is a plus.
Personal computer/laptop required.
