Job Title: Cash Officer
Locations: Damaturu, Bade, Bursari, Potiskum and Yunusari, Yobe

Job Description
As a Cash Officer, you will play a vital role in the implementation and management of Multi-Purpose Cash Assistance (MPCA) activities.
Responsibilities
MPCA Implementation:
Plan and oversee cash distribution activities, ensuring smooth and efficient processes.
Logistics Coordination:
Coordinate logistics, including transportation, security, and storage of cash.
Cash Distribution:
Manage cash distribution to Project Participants, ensuring compliance with established procedures.
Monitoring and Evaluation:
Support monitoring and evaluation efforts, collecting data, analyzing outcomes, and ensuring compliance with SOPs.
Stakeholder Relations:
Build and maintain strong relationships with Project Participants and stakeholders, facilitating effective communication and collaboration.
Training and Capacity Building:
Provide training and capacity building for staff and volunteers on cash assistance protocols and best practices.
Qualifications
Bachelor's Degree in Finance, Accounting, Economics, or a related field.
Minimum of 2 years of experience working in cash transfer programs or related fields.
Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
Excellent organizational and time management skills.
Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite (Word, Excel, PowerPoint).
Fluency in English and Hausa.
Additional Skills (Preferred):
Experience working in humanitarian or development contexts.
Knowledge of local customs and traditions.
Experience in data analysis and reporting.
Salary
N1,800,000 - N3,500,000 Monthly.

Feedback Mechanisms: Establish and maintain effective feedback mechanisms to gather feedback from beneficiaries.
Complaint Handling: Develop a complaint-handling mechanism to address grievances and concerns.
Advocacy: Advocate for the rights of the affected population and ensure that their voices are heard.
Reporting: Prepare regular reports on the effectiveness of WRCI's programs and services in meeting the needs of the affected population.
Capacity Building: Build the capacity of WRCI staff and partners in AAP principles and practices, including protection mainstreaming.
Qualifications
Bachelor's Degree in Social Work, International Development, Human Rights, or a related field.
Minimum of 2 years of experience working in humanitarian or development contexts.
Strong understanding of accountability principles and practices, focusing on protection mainstreaming.
Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
Fluency in English and Hausa.
Additional Skills (Preferred):
Experience in conducting needs assessments and surveys.
Knowledge of local customs and traditions.
Training in accountability to affected populations, including protection mainstreaming.
