Qualifications and Skills
Education:
Bachelor’s Degree in Social Sciences, International Development, Project Management, or a related field.
Experience:
3 - 5 years of experience in program coordination, project management, or a related role in an NGO setting.
Experience in monitoring and evaluation and working with diverse stakeholders.
Skills:
Strong organizational and multitasking abilities.
Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
Proficiency in project management software and MS Office Suite.
Ability to work independently and in a team-oriented environment.
Strong problem-solving and decision-making skills.

Job Summary
The successful candidate will be responsible for the accurate measurement and determination of land boundaries, provision of relevant data to the shape, contour, location, gravitation, elevation and dimension of land features for engineering, mapmaking, land evaluation, construction and other purposes.
The role also requires hands-on experience with engineering instruments and knowledge of GPS and GIS systems.
Job Responsibilities
Prepare and maintain sketches, maps, reports, and legal descriptions of surveys in order to describe, certify, and assume liability for work performed.
Conduct physical site and ground surveys using a variety of equipment and tools to establish baselines, elevations, and other geodetic measurements.
Verify the accuracy of survey data, including measurements and calculations conducted at survey sites.
Direct or conduct surveys in order to establish legal boundaries for properties, based on legal deeds and titles.
Record the results of surveys, including the shape, contour, location, elevation, and dimensions of land or land features.
Calculate heights, depths, relative positions, property lines, and other characteristics of terrain.
Coordinate findings with the work of engineering and architectural personnel, clients, and others concerned with projects.
Determine longitudes and latitudes of important features and boundaries in survey areas, using theodolites, transits, levels, and satellite-based global positioning systems (GPS).
Conduct research in surveying and mapping methods, using knowledge of techniques of photogrammetric map compilation and electronic data processing.
Take up other duties as assigned by the project manager.
Job Requirements
Candidates should possess a BSc / HND in Surveying or a relevant field
Minimum of 2-6 years relevant working experience in building surveying in a well-structured environment
Candidates must be a registered Surveyor.
