Activities

Proactively managing ED(HR & CS) calendar including scheduling and prioritising all meeting requests and correspondence ensuring responses and actions are undertaken and completed in a timely manner.
Developing and maintaining effective working relationships with internal and external stakeholders (staff, customers, service providers, shareholders etc.) on a range of subjects.
Providing executive support with the preparation, organisation, planning and effective logistics of all meetings, team events or conference managed by ED(HR & CS) office involving internal and external stakeholders.
Schedule meetings between the ED HR & CS and their direct reports and the committees and groups of which they are a member
Collating and preparing papers, correspondence including reports to ensure compliance with organisational requirements.
Attend, screen and manage internal/external telephone calls, correspondence and requests.
Coordinate HRCS weekly and quarterly divisional meetings, prepare and distribute meeting agenda and supporting papers if any, take minutes and follow up on action items with responsible parties thereafter.
Organize ED’s business travel arrangements and accommodation in line with company travel and expense and compliance policies, process expenses and claims on behalf of ED(HR&CS).
Work collaboratively with other PA’s within the organisation to ensure smooth running of the department.
Check that ED’s office set up is appropriate and that the office equipment is properly maintained.
Taking a continuous improvement approach to support and identify opportunities for the most efficient and effective PA support model, particularly embracing and using new technology and functionality.
Provide general admin support to HR & CS Division (particularly the digitization programme) and follow up requests from department staff.
Any other job assigned by the ED HR & CS.
Context & Environment:
The ED (HR&CS)’s office is highly sensitive and characterized by high level of confidential activities.
The job holder is attached to the ED(HR&CS) but to work administratively for all the departments in human resources and Corporate Services Division.

Candidate Profile
Possess First Degree in Arts or Social Sciences
Experience: Less than 3 years
Knowledge of standard office administrative practices/procedures.
Demonstrates good organisational, planning, multitasking and prioritisation skills plus a high level of accuracy and attention to detail
Good communicator with good interpersonal skills and ability to build relationships with staff at all levels
Proficient IT skills in Microsoft Teams and Office applications
Ability to work on own initiative and as a part of a team liaising with internal and external stakeholders globally and remotely.
Confident, proactive, self-motivated and organised approach.
Demonstrates high level of discretion, diplomacy and judgement to dealing with confidential and sensitive information.

Activities
HSE:
Strict adherence and compliance towards Group QHSSE policy (including MAESTRO) with high Quality of QHSSE performance and complying with affiliate’s QHSSE Policy, Procedures & specific rules & regulations applicable to the area of activity at all times.
Participate in the training program to acquire QHSSE knowledge and impart this training to colleagues as and when required by Management.
Reporting of near misses, incidents, hazards & injuries to line Manager within the time frame as required by Quality, HSSE, Energy policies and Manuals.
Participate in the investigation and analysis of incidents as and when required.
Strict adherence to QHSSE requirements with full authority to stop any operation for safety reasons.
Project Development Support:
Analyze EPCs and contractors offers in terms of quality, HSE, and cost
Prepare and launch RFPs to contractors for awarded projects
Shortlist and negotiate with contractors for awarded projects
Prepare and update engineering tools and templates
Coordinate with design team to prepare and follow-up local approvals and regulatory obligations.
Liaise with HQ technical services for technical specifications use and continuous improvement and with remote engineering support when applicable.
As a Project Manager the following activities will be performed:
Manage multiple projects execution at a time from EPC contract negotiation to hand over with focus on safety, security, quality, budget, planning and documentation management.
Support and follow-up the permitting and Engineering team in local approvals and regulatory obligations
Support & follow-up on-board suppliers including EPCs and engineering consultants, in full respect of HSE, Quality and compliance guidelines and specifications. Engage in commercial negotiations and maintain relationships, to ensure equipment and contractors are optimally and sustainably procured.
Ensure strict adherence of projects design and material selection as per contractual requirements
Ensure construction quality & safety by regular visits and reports
Manage projects construction with focus on safety, quality, budget, and planning
Coordinate with one or several contractors (EPC) + equipment suppliers the construction of the projects
Ensure proper projects commissioning and testing of the plant as per contractual requirements and industry good practice
Hand-over the projects to both O&M Team and Client in line with set contractual objectives
Ensure the documentation management is up to the company requirements
Engage in commercial negotiations and maintain relationships, to ensure equipment and contractors are optimally and sustainably procured
Built strong Relationship with Client after proper handing over from sales/development team
Technical Sales Support:
Conduct feasibility studies, preliminary solar designs, CAPEX/OPEX estimation and solar plant performance simulations.
Assess site characteristics, constraints and analyze consumption demands of the customer during prospection phase.
Prepare technical offers and presenting them to potential clients, support the sales team in the negotiation with clients
Prepare internal CITS Dossiers and investment committee presentations
Technical support and contribution to around 30MW awarded per year
Candidate Profile
3 years of experience related to design, construction, technical sales
Minimum of 5 years of projects management experience on solar projects.
Experience in rooftop, ground-mount, carport, wheeling DG projects
Experience in Low & medium Voltage POC project / Projects size up to 50 to 70 MWp
Experience in hybrid solution with BESS solution would be very much appreciated
Graduate from a premier University with a Degree in Engineering and/or Electrical Graduate degree and/or related professional qualifications considered as a plus.
Experience with maintaining minimum functional specification, commissioning checklists, and standard operating practices for rooftop solar projects.
Working experience of the RSA context in electrical norms, renewable energy regulations, construction codes, is required.
Knowledge of project management good practices, engineering, and solar specific software such MS Project, AutoCAD, PVSyst, Meteonorm, SolarGIS, Helioscope, Sketchup, etc.
