We are recruiting to fill the position below:
Job Title: Assistant Operator
Location: Ibadan, Oyo
Job Purpose
To optimally extract oil from Prepared soybean material with good quality and productivity.
The Job
Periodically inspects the feed hopper to ensure free flow of the cake on the bed through the sight glass on the extractor and to ensure that reasonable material seal of the extractor.
Takes dip of all solvent underground tanks at resumption and shift end, and report same to supervisor on duty
Periodically inspect the flowrate of Miscellany and the hexane pump
Periodically check the level of the full miscella compartment
Records indicator reading test results from the quality control
Cleaning the equipment and environment
Assist in the routine maintenance of the plant
Ensure the safety of self and others in the line of duty by adhering strictly to the safety ethics of the company
Perform any other duties as assigned by Management
Qualifications and Experience
OND in Chemical or Mechanical Engineering.
NABTEB/Trade test/WAEC.
At least 1 Year of cognate experience.
The Person Must:
Possess excellent written and verbal communication skills.
Possess the ability to troubleshoot and resolve basic issues or assist in solving more complex problems.
Adhere to safety protocols and procedures.
Familiarity with equipment, machinery, and tools related to the specific industry or process.
Ability to prioritize tasks and manage time effectively.
Ability to assist in operating equipment, monitoring processes, and performing routine tasks.
