Job Title: Maintenance & Asset Integrity Coordinator

Job Summary
The Maintenance and Integrity Coordinator will develop and implement maintenance strategies, oversee inspection and integrity programs, and coordinate with operations teams to minimize downtime and extend the lifecycle of assets.
The M&I Coordinator is responsible for ensuring the reliability, safety, and optimal performance of production facilities and equipment in the company.
Main Responsibilities
Develop, implement, and continuously improve asset integrity management plans and procedures for offshore platforms, pipelines, storage tanks, and other critical equipment.
Monitor the condition and performance of assets through regular inspections, non-destructive testing, and data analysis.
Coordinate maintenance, repair, and replacement activities to address integrity issues and prevent unplanned downtime proactively.
Ensure compliance with relevant industry standards, government regulations, and company policies related to asset integrity.
Identify and manage integrity-related risks, implementing mitigation strategies to protect personnel, the environment, and operational continuity.
Collaborate with multidisciplinary teams, including operations, engineering, and HSE, to optimize asset performance and reliability.
Maintain comprehensive asset integrity records and documentation, reporting to management regularly.
Participate in root cause analyses for asset failures and implement corrective actions.
Provide training and guidance to operations and maintenance personnel on asset integrity best practices.
Liaise with government agencies, including NUPRC, NNPC, NAPIMS, NCDMB, etc. to ensure all activities adhere to regulatory requirements, company policies, and industry standards.
Ensure compliance with health, safety, and environmental regulations, promoting a culture of safety and operational excellence across all maintenance and integrity activities.
Participate in safety audits, risk assessments, and incident investigations.
Educational Qualifications and Skills
Bachelor's Degree in Mechanical Engineering, Electrical Engineering, or a related field.
An advanced degree (Master’s ) in a relevant discipline is preferred.
Possess at least Seven years of active experience in the upstream oil and gas industry.
Experience in the Niger Delta/Rivers region is essential
Knowledge of maintenance and integrity management principles, including reliability-centered maintenance (RCM) and risk-based inspection (RBI).
Experience with computerized maintenance management systems (CMMS) and enterprise asset management (EAM) software
Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to work effectively with multidisciplinary teams and different stakeholders.
Strong analytical and problem-solving skills, with the ability to interpret complex situations and develop effective maintenance strategies.
Experience in managing maintenance and integrity budgets, with a focus on cost control and resource optimization.
In-depth knowledge of industry standards and regulatory requirements related to asset integrity and maintenance in the upstream oil & gas sector.
Experience in managing maintenance operations in both onshore and offshore environments
Strong knowledge of HSE (Health, Safety, and Environmental) standards and best practices.
Strong organizational and project management skills.
Ability to handle multiple projects simultaneously and meet deadline
Willingness to travel to field locations and work in challenging conditions as required.
