Job Title: Planning and Scheduling Engineer III
Locations: Akwa Ibom, Lagos and Rivers
Employment Type: Full Time
Main Functions
The Planning and Scheduling Engineer (PE) is responsible for the Project Schedule and all aspects of the Progress Measurement System.
This includes day-to-day activities for the development, maintaining, monitoring, controlling and integrating of the overall Project schedule including putting in place the progress measurement system, verification and reporting.
The PE reviews Contractor Schedules for usefulness, logic, level of detail, input sources, timing, lines of communication, and interfaces with other project elements and consistency with Current Control Estimate, Work Breakdown Structure (WBS), and the Project Plan.
The PE also establishes the schedule requirements and frequencies of issue for all of the contractor schedule deliverables.
The PE strives for timely detection of trends and specifically deviations from the plan.
Tasks and Responsibilities
In addition to all Level 1 and 2 tasks and responsibilities, Level 3:
Maintain regular contact with project teams and with the Functional Organization
Maintain close liaison with planning engineers in the project teams
Provide direction and feedback to Project planning and control engineers on schedule aspects of the project
Drives and promotes capital efficiency in Project Services and on stewarded projects.
Skills and Qualifications
Bachelor of Science Degree in Engineering, Engineering Technology or Construction Management
Experience in project controls w/a focus on planning and schedule control
Technical discipline certifications commensurate with work experience
Willing to work overseas in a team environment
Willing to relocate to required project site
Strong Influencing, Consulting, Mentoring, Analytical, and Computing skills
Adaptability to changing priorities
Strong interpersonal and communication skills

Job Title: Environmental Scientist Iii

Main Functions
Provide guidance and advice on Technical, Operational, and Safety, Security, Health and Environmental (SSH&E) aspects of environmental data collection during field operations.
Collection and analysis of environmental samples and data. In addition, the personnel will be required to act as Marine Mammal Observer (MMO) or Protected Species Observer (PSO) during the seismic operation.
A MMO/PSO shall be the individual who keeps watch for mammals during seismic operations.
Tasks and Responsibilities
In addition to the Level 1 and 2 tasks, a Level 3:
Will provide mentoring and technical guidance to lower level personnel and have the skills and qualifications below.
Serve as the environmental expert for the Business Line.
Skills and Qualifications
Previous experience in a closely related position ; ExxonMobil experience preferred
Must have exceptional technical skills to monitor and advise on technical aspects of data acquisition, sample preservation, processing, interpretation, classification and reporting; including; logistics, operations, instrumentation, equipment, recording, and positioning
Must be well versed in SSH&E practices and processes for field operations
Must have strong knowledge of sampling and preservation of water column, surficial and near surficial sediments for environmental, geochemical or geological/geotechnical purposes
Must be trained at observing and identifying marine mammals or in compliance with the most recent Joint Nature Conservation Committee (JNCC) guidelines (or other standards defined for the area of operations).
Must have excellent communication skills, possess high level of integrity, and willingness to build trust and accountability in inter-personal relationships while working in team setting
Must be fluent in both written and spoken English
Must be proficient in current communication mediums and technologies (i.e., Microsoft Office, telecommunications, email, meetings)
Must be in good physical condition and shall comply with all project health and safety requirements (including any vendor, vessel or country-specific certifications required to work offshore)
Must comply with requirements per the agreement.
Certifications must be current and not due to expire for the anticipated duration of the project.

Main Functions
Ensure Contractors work in accordance with contract terms and conditions. Ensure timely placement of Purchase Orders that support contract services for production work in compliance with corporate controls and best practices.
Track progress, and support Supervisors with coordinating Contractor’s compliance regarding company systems and controls.
Oversee the administration and performance of service contracts. Ensure contract payments are executed accurately and anomalies are identified.
Ensure payments are made to Contractors in accordance with requirements of Company agreements held with Contracts in a timely manner.
Advise on contract risks and support the stewardship of gap closure and opportunities for improvement, assisting with prioritization where required.
Key Responsibilities
Participate in pre-qualification and contractor selection
Liaise with Procurement to ensure required Contract Documents are in place
Participate in contract handover between Procurement and Business Line
Initiate and Facilitate contract kick-off meeting with Contractor
Communicate with Contractor to develop a joint Interface Management Plan
Engage in contract life cycle and overseeing the entire contract portfolio for each business line/function
Responsible for stewarding contractor interface activities throughout contract life cycle
Participate in service planning and develop contract strategy
Act as a liaison and coordinator among Procurement, SSH&E and Operations within the business line
Establish and maintain the Active Contractor Tracking Database
Monthly KPI reporting (e.g., Contract Stewardship, Man hour reporting, etc.)
Link to other business lines to share best practice
Coordinate and conduct Contractors Site Assessment
Coordinate review contractor crew competency
Organize and coordinate Contractor Performance Assessments (Reporting Quarterly interface, A&D compliance, Contractor compliance check and Annual Performance Scorecard)
Report Contractor performance to OIMS 8-1 System Owner and Administrator
Coordinate and facilitate Level 2 and 3 quarterly, annual performance review/feedback meetings
Liaise with SSH&E Team to schedule Level 4 SSHE Sharing Meeting
Assist with coordinate Level 5 Annual Contractor Safety Forum
Assist Contract Owner in performing suspension and/or termination to contracts
Initiate and ensure contract completion and close out with contractor
Skills and Qualifications
Experience with Contract administration, with service-contractor environments preferred.
Experience within a large corporation or complex organizational setting.
Experience and confidence working in field or industrial environments, including remote locations.
Experience working with developing businesses, and also Landowner Companies (LANCO’s).
Experience in engaging with contractors, in a developing country environment.
Highest standard of Safety, Health, Environment aptitude and cultivates the same in others
Understanding of Procurement roles, responsibilities and business processes as they relate to contracts
