GRA is a non-political, rights-based organization registered in Nigeria in 2016. Dedicated to fostering evidence-based initiatives, GRA promotes development, justice, and victim support in communities. GRAprograms focus is on on climate change, conflict, security,justice, social economic development, and governance. GRA collaborates with diverse stakeholders, including funders, civil societies, victims, institutions, communities, local government, and the state. GRAwork centers on empowering marginalized groups, such as children, women, people with disabilities, victims of SGBV, and at-risk youth. GRA targets a broad range of individuals, including victims of SGBV, missing persons and vulnerable individuals. GRA operates from its head office in Abuja, regional offices in Maiduguri and others offices in Adamawa, Yobe, Plateau, Katsina, Sokoto, and Zamfara State.
We are recruiting to fill the position below:
Job Title: Finance & Admin Coordinator
Location: Abuja (FCT) and Maiduguri, Borno
Employment Type: Full-time
Responsibilities
Finance Role:The finance coordination role involves managing annual GRA budgets, overseeing financial planning, monitoring performance, ensuring compliance with regulations, managing financial risk, supervising accounting functions, preparing financial reports, and coordinating audits to ensure compliance with audit recommendations and align with strategic goals and donor requirements.
Adminstrative Role:The role involves overseeing office administration in 8 states of Nigeria ,managing human resources functions, coordinating administrative support staff, ensuring compliance with policies, maintaining accurate records, providing administrative support, developing efficient systems, and managing office equipment and technology, including maintenance and upgrades.
Finance Coordination Role:
Develop and manage annual budgetsfor GRA, ensuring alignment with strategic goals and donor requirements.
Oversee financial planning and forecasting, including cash flow management and risk assessments.
Monitor and analyze financial performanceagainst budget projections, identifying variances and recommending corrective actions.
Ensure compliance with financial regulationsand reporting requirements; expeciallydonor regulations.
Manage financial riskthrough effective risk assessment and mitigation strategies.
Supervise accounting functions, including accounts payable, receivable, payroll processing, and fixed asset management.
Prepare financial reportsfor donors, management, and other stakeholders.
Coordinate financial auditsand ensure compliance with audit recommendations.
Administrative Coordination Role:
Oversee general office administration, including facilities management, procurement, fleet management, and office supplies.
Manage human resources functions, including recruitment, onboarding, training, performance evaluations, employee relations, and benefits administration.
Coordinate administrative support staff, including receptionists, administrative assistants, and drivers.
Ensure compliance with administrative policies and procedures, including health and safety regulations.
Maintain accurate records and documentationfor all administrative activities.
Provide administrative supportto program staff and management as needed.
Develop and implement administrative systems and processesto improve efficiency and effectiveness.
Manage office equipment and technology, including maintenance and upgrades.
Qualifications
Master's degree in Accounting, Finance, or a related field.
5years of experiencein financial management and administration in the non-profit or development sector.
Demonstrated experiencein financial planning, budgeting, and reporting.
Strong understanding of financial regulationsand accounting principles.
Proficiency in accounting software(e.g., QuickBooks, SAP) and financial analysis tools.
Excellent organizational and time management skills.
Strong attention to detail and accuracy.
