The Enumerator will support data collection during the USAID Feed the Future Nigeria Agricultural Extension & Advisory Services Activity annual survey for FY24.
The project works to increase smallholder farmers’ productivity, incomes, and household nutrition status in Kebbi, Niger, Kaduna, Benue, Ebonyi, Cross-River, and Delta states of Nigeria through strengthening sustainable agricultural extension and advisory services.
The project particularly focuses on aquaculture, cowpea, maize, rice, and soybean value chains.
Essential Responsibilities
Participate in enumerators’ training
Conduct piloting of survey tools.
Administer household survey interviews.
Qualifications & Requirements
Education:
A Bachelor’s Degree in Management, Sociology / Rural Development, Agricultural Economics, Economics or Statistics.
Experience:
S/he will have at least 2 years’ experience in survey fieldwork (data collection, validation, entry, and analysis)
S/he will have at least 1 year experience in conducting agricultural surveys
Conversant with electronic data collection (using CAPI/ODK)
Fluency in local language/dialect and respect for ethics.
