Job Title: Production WRFM Lead

Role Purpose
The Production WRFM (Wells Reservoir and Facility Management) Lead will be responsible for optimizing production performance and maximizing the value of hydrocarbon production within the asset ensuring maximum recovery and efficient operation.
This role involves overseeing the integrated management of wells, reservoirs, and production facilities to ensure efficient, safe, and sustainable operations that enhance production rates, reduce downtime, and extend the lifecycle of the assets.
Accountabilities
Lead the development and implementation of production optimization strategies
Oversee the processes involved in reservoir management, including reservoir modelling and simulation
Manage interfaces with Field Operations, Petroleum Engineering, Engineering & Project, Hydrocarbon Accounting, Production Chemistry, Well Engineering, etc.
Carry out routine roles of Production Programmer, including corporate management of well-testing performance management.
Ensure facilities’ integrity, reliability, and optimal performance
Coordinate well interventions, workovers, and production enhancement activities, ensuring alignment with operational goals and regulatory requirements.
Monitor production performance and analyze data to identify opportunities for improvement, troubleshooting issues, and implementing corrective actions.
Develop and maintain production forecasts, budgets, and performance metrics, providing regular updates and reports to management and stakeholders.
Corporate focal point for secondary recovery (including gas-lifting).
Drive short to medium-term surveillance and optimisation of production and injection systems (from the reservoir to product custody transfer points) while maintaining acceptable asset integrity and HSSE management standards.
Collaborate with Reservoir Engineering, Drilling, Operations, and other teams to ensure integrated WRFM
Work with the Production Geoscientists, Production and Petroleum Engineers, Gas Process Engineers, Well & Completion Engineer and others to achieve production objectives.
Implement and monitor safety procedures to minimize risks during production operations.
Participate in safety audits, risk assessments, and incident investigations.
Professional Qualifications
Bachelor's Degree in Petroleum Engineering, or a related field.
Advanced degree (Master's) in a relevant discipline is preferred.
Minimum 10 years of experience in production engineering, WRFM, or a related field in an upstream company.
Experience in the Niger Delta/Rivers region is essential
Knowledge & Skills Required:
Experience with production optimization techniques and reservoir management best practices.
Strong technical expertise in well, reservoir, and facilities management
Ability to build strong relationships with key stakeholders internally and externally.
Knowledge of WRFM principles, production optimization techniques, and best practices.
Experience in managing WRFM operations in both onshore and offshore environments.
Strong knowledge of HSE (Health, Safety, and Environmental) standards and best practices.
Strong organizational and project management skills.
Ability to handle multiple projects simultaneously and meet deadline
Proficient in using data analysis software and tools for WRFM performance evaluation.
Ability to adapt to changing operational condition sand work in a dynamic environment.
Excellent collaboration, communication, and leadership skills.
Willingness to travel to field locations and work in challenging conditions as required.
