Job Title: Basic Computer Literacy Tutor
Locations: Ikoyi & Ikeja - Lagos

Job Summary
We are seeking a talented and passionateBasic Computer Literacytutor to join our team, specializing in providing hands-on sewing and tailoring instruction to adolescents and young children.
This role involves teaching basic computer skills and use of basic office software such as email, internet access and techniques, fostering creativity and confidence in young learners.
The ideal candidate will have the required skill to build the competence of hub learners in the use of computers.
This successful candidates will also provide support to the SHE Centre Ikoyi and STEM hub in Ikeja to support learners with increasing their proficiency with the use of computers.
Responsibilities
Basic Computer Instruction:
Develop and implement age-appropriate basic computer literacy curriculum and lesson plans for adolescents and young persons.
Teach fundamental computer skills skills.
Demonstrate proper use of office tools and video conferencing software equipment, ensuring safety and
proper maintenance of their devices.
Mentorship and Support:
Provide guidance, encouragement, and constructive feedback to students, helping them build confidence and develop their computer skills.
Foster a supportive and inclusive learning environment where all students feel valued and empowered to learn and grow.
Qualifications
Related qualification in Computer Science
Experience teaching adolescents and young people.Competencies
Excellent interpersonal and communication skills with the ability to engage and connect with young persons.
Ability to demonstrate and teach proper use of computers to their students.
Ability to design and deliver effective lessons to their students.
Patience, empathy, and a genuine passion for working with adolescents and young people.
Other Requirements
Willingness to undergo background checks and any necessary certifications related to working with children.
Availability to work flexible hours, including evenings and weekends, to accommodate class schedules and events.
