Job Title: Communication and Media Officer
Location: Ikeja, Lagos

Responsibilites
Social Media Strategy:
Develop and implement a comprehensive social media strategy aligned with organizational goals.
Create engaging content to promote brand awareness and attract a diverse audience.
Develop and implement engaging content across social media platforms (e.g., Facebook, Twitter, LinkedIn).
Manage and grow the company’s online presence through regular posts, stories, and campaigns.
Assist in managing and optimizing paid advertising campaigns (e.g., Google Ads, Twitter Ads).
Stay updated on industry trends and emerging social media platforms.
Content Creation:
Produce high-quality, shareable content for various social media platforms.
Utilize multimedia elements such as graphics, videos, and infographics to enhance content.
Collaborate with the team to create and implement email marketing strategies.
Assist with updating and maintaining the company website using CMS platforms (e.g., WordPress).
Community Engagement:
Monitor social media channels for comments, messages, and mentions.
Engage with the online community, respond to inquiries, and foster positive interactions.
Campaign Management:
Plan and execute social media campaigns to promote services, events, and initiatives.
Collaborate with internal teams to align campaigns with broader marketing objectives.
Analytics and Reporting:
Track and analyse social media performance metrics.
Prepare regular reports detailing key insights and recommendations for improvement.
Brand Consistency:
Ensure brand consistency across all social media channels.
Implement and maintain social media guidelines for the organization.
Stay Updated on Trends:
Stay informed about social media trends, algorithm changes, and emerging platforms.
Recommend and implement innovative strategies to stay ahead of the curve.
Requirements
Bachelor’s Degree / HND in Communications, Media Studies, Public Relations, Marketing, or a related field.
Minimum of 2 years of experience in social media management and digital marketing, preferably in the Study Abroad and Education sector.
Proficiency in social media tools and platforms (Facebook, Instagram, Twitter, LinkedIn, etc.).
Familiarity with content management systems (e.g., WordPress).
Experience in running paid advertising campaigns (Google Ads, Facebook Ads).
Strong writing, editing, and communication skills.
Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
Experience with Adobe Creative Suite/Design Premium applications (specifically InDesign, Photoshop, Canva).
Experience with video editing and design for video advertising (e.g., Facebook or TikTok advertising).
Knowledge of SEO and Google Analytics is a plus.
