We are recruiting to fill the position below:

Job Title: MWD Engineer

Location: Port Harcourt, Rivers
Employment Type: Full-time


Job Description

Responsible for maintaining and troubleshooting MWD tools, ensuring that they are functioning properly throughout the drilling operation.
Operate and maintain tools that measure various parameters, such as wellbore trajectory, downhole pressure, temperature, and mud characteristics.
If an MWD tool malfunctions, the engineer must identify and fix the issue quickly to avoid downtime.
May be involved in discussing and interpreting data with clients, especially in more complex or high stakes drilling environments.

Requirements

Minimum HND / BSc in Engineering, Science, Geology or other technical discipline, or equivalent drilling rig experience
Requires ability to read and interpret information well logs and interpret directional survey information and other well-site data.
Be able to lead MWD surveying jobs and entry level MWD logging jobs.
